Connecticut style icons– the reigning Miss Connecticut Alyssa Taglia and Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen– presided over the latest installment of “Who’s next?” in Bristol, Conn.

The two Nutmeg State style icons hosted The Miss Bristol-Forestville Scholarship Program pageant  on Saturday from Bristol, Conn.

Erika Farrell received the title of new Miss Forestville. Gina Salvatore was crowned Miss Bristol. Both will be vying to be Taglia’s successor as the state’s entry to Miss America in Atlantic City, N.J. next fall.

Additionally, two representatives heading to the Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen competition were named. Cassandra Lechner is the new Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen. Victoria Kilbourne is the new Miss Bristol’s Outstanding Teen. Both look to succeed Anderson as the state’s representative at Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen next year.

Here’s what audiences saw onstage at this past weekend’s pageant as the contestants competed in onstage question, lifestyle and fitness (swimsuits), talent, and evening gown competitions. Also take a peek backstage before the contestants took the stage
