Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul Spring/Summer 2017 took place at the Zorlu Performance Arts Center on October 11 – 15, 2016. Actors of the global fashion industry that came to Istanbul for the highly anticipated event attended runway shows and presentations, observed the trends and evaluated their buying options. The Core Istanbul, which brought together the Spring/Summer 2017 collections of designers and brands with local and international buyers in the commercial leg of the event, was open on October 12 and 13 at the Zorlu Performance Arts Center. In addition to runway shows, presentations and exhibitions, several other events that combined fashion, lifestyle and different disciplines of art took place during the fashion week in various venues in Istanbul to appeal to an international audience.
