The Red Umbrella offered up a kids’ collection at Society Fashion Week that evoked thoughts of Mark Twain, “Little House on the Prairie,” and Charles Dickens.
There was a definite urchin flare to the pieces, which were perfect for family gatherings in the Berkshires, folk music festivals in the Hudson Valley, and open houses at exclusive Montessori schools in New England. Children with a strong sense of individuality and a taste for creativity would be right at home at the pieces shown at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan on Feb. 10.
