She couldn’t give it up

Sarah Jones thought she had left the modeling world behind her. But then she got pulled in once again.

The 45-year-old surgical receptionist tried her hand at modeling in 2017. She worked as an event model at the Philadelphia Wing bowl and the Philadelphia car show. But no work arose from those efforts for the New Castle, Del. Resident.

So she decided to just focus on her day job.

But in 2020, the bug hit again.

Sarah served a wardrobe assistance/makeup artist. Inspired, she started an Instagram account and began networking hard. She found work modeling for several online boutiques on Instagram as a product ambassador. That kicked open the door for Sarah. She has since walked  for fashion shows all over the country for up-and-coming designers. She also has been published twice.

Now Sarah says she “aspires to become a highly featured print model encouraging petite mature models everywhere to follow their dreams no matter when they start.”

Sarah is a recent winner at Magnifique Showcase organized by Victoria Henley.
