Mature fashion, especially in women’s swimwear, doesn’t have to mean dull and dowdy.
The collection of swimsuits shown poolside at Flying Solo during Miami Swim Week by London brand Notus was proof of that.
The swimwear definitely was not a go-to for teens and twenty-somethings. The collection clearly belonged in the closet of the 30-plus set.
But, rather than looking like something out of someone’s favorite discount retailer, the line was sexy (without being provocative), flattering (without camouflaging) and fashion forward (thanks to little details that gave the garments visual appeal while you’re sitting at the swimming pool reading your copy of Vogue or the Wall Street Journal).
