Chasity Aniece Productions has been getting ready for its February fashion extravaganza.

On a recent afternoon in South Norwalk, CAP held a promotional photo shoot for Afro Realm, which will be held Feb. 18 from 2 to 10 p.m. at 635 New Park Ave #2f, West Hartford

Promotional materials explained the theme for the fashion show: “Welcome to the Afro Realm, a world where people of color reclaim our power and take over and heal the planet. Re-imagine a future flushed with art, science, and technology through a black cultural lens. Experience the incredible works of Afro-futuristic local and national artists.”

Afro Realm is part of CAP’s “Life in Color” series. Promotional materials explain, “It is an annual Black History Month exhibition created by Chasity Aniece. It is an immersive runway experience that encourages Black excellence and culture through art, design, fashion, and music.”
At the photo shoot, models wore garments of black, white and chrome.
Here is a selection of the garments on display for the cameras.
