The collection of fashion Alexandra Popescu-York shown at Art Hearts Fashion Week on Sept. 6 exhibited a variety of artistic influences.
There were touches of upcycled fashion. There were touches of the Belle Epoque. There were touches of the Victorian age. And there were touches of the Renaissance, some rococo, and the Holy Roman Empire.
There also were touches of artistic periods that only the most diehard art history students would deciper.
But, this alchemy of artistic quotations composed a most unique and elegant fashion novella.
