Gabriella Forbidussi is a pageant girl.

She loves modeling and volunteer work. But the 11-year-old’s resume shows that there rarely is a moment where she not had a crown or sash of some kind.

For Gabriella, pageants are one of her great loves.

Gabriella became a Princess in the Petite America Pageants in July 2016. Gabriella has been a princess in the Today’s International Women’s Pageant in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She was selected as Little Miss Broome County in July 2017 and was first runner up to Little Miss Broome County in July 2016. Gabriella has participated in the Owego Strawberry Festival in 2017 and won Little Miss Strawberry Princess with Angel Face Pageants.

This past June, Gabriella won Best Eyes and the Sweetest Award from the Owego Strawberry Festival Angel Face Pageants. Gabriella is the Teen Universe Ohio Pre-Teen for 2020 and she will be participating for the Teen Universe USA Preteen title this October in Orlando, Fla.

Gabriella also loves fashion.

Gabriella enjoys modeling with former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Victoria Henley for Henley’s organization Magnifique. She was a winner in the Magnifique fashion competition in August in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. She has modeled in Tennessee in the Magnifique shows and New York Fashion Week twice. She has been a model for Hogback Mountain Pony Rides.

Besides pageants and modeling, Gabriella is the consummate volunteer.

In September 2019, Gabriella created Gabriella’s Lemonade Birthday Bash Fashion Show with her mom and sisters to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand for childhood cancer.

Gabriella involved the Lions Clubs and friends from the community to create a fun celebration of her birthday. She’s hoping to do this again this year after COVID-19 has run its course.

Next, Gabriella has helped her mother to put on Ann’s 5k Race and Kid’s Fun Run for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America in honor of her Grandma Ann and Uncle Adam who are living with HD.

Gabriella said she likes to remind people that “some days seem a little cloudy but remember that the sun is always shining way up above those clouds and so can you.”
